ACI has grown over the last 20 years from a small, family-owned company, to being held by 2 private equity firms. During these changes at ACI, Chuck has been a stable resource for field staff to relay on for guidance. During Chuck’s tenure at ACI he has been tasked with overseeing corporate wide initiatives such as; competitive analytics and product development within the network. These responsibilities have required him to bring together a wide-variety of individuals with varying skill sets and educational differences to research, develop strategy and implement timelines. Each project Chuck has been assigned has resulted in on-time execution and exceeded company forecasts in regards to volume and financial revenues. It’s my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Chuck Zindel. As the CFO for Affordable Care, Inc. (ACI) since 1995, I’ve worked with Chuck for over seventeen years, and more closely in recent years. Chuck has the personal qualities that make him well-suited to lead a business. On a personal level, he’s very friendly, charismatic and well-spoken, qualities that have served him well in his roles in our Operations arena.

Speaking for all of us at Affordable Care, we will be sad to see such a valuable employee leave, but our loss is another’s gain, and I certainly wish the best for Chuck. With that said, allow me to point out three examples of Chuck’s strengths.

First, Chuck brought great value to ACI by spearheading our Dental Implant Program and implementing our Ultra Denture product initiative, both of these over the last 5-6 years. Chuck has an understanding of market trends and instincts for identifying and pursuing new products and procedures. Not only does he provide stellar service to our dental affiliates, but he has an established excellent rapport with our Management Team, working with all of them on one project or another over this time frame. He has the combination of business acumen and communication skills that makes him an outstanding person working in our Operations field.

Second, As a Director of Operations, Chuck worked closely with about half of our dental centers (approximately 100 separate and unique locations) on annual forecasting of practice revenues and expenses, including the related employee staff salaries, benefits, equipment needs, and facility maintenance. Obviously, for us in the finance department, these skills helped our team immensely.

Finally, Chuck has always proved himself to be a strong cultural fit here at ACI. He’s always ready to lend a helping hand to his teammates and contributes during brainstorming sessions and cross-functional meetings between various teams. Chuck is an active member of the ACI team and always supported his colleagues professionally and personally.

In closing, I will restate my strong support for Chuck in Operations (or any other business operations area). I’m confident that he will surpass your expectations. Chuck is driven, self-confident and motivated, proactively helpful, smart, and I know that he will continue to grow with any organization.
